Friday This 8 hour workshop is PACKED with techniques which will enhance students’ previous PMC experience by teaching students how to: 1. Prepare PMC pieces for soldering with a butane torch (provided by DSMA), soldering on ear wires and ear posts. 2. How to make and use molds of all kinds of objects. Typically, this is the part of class students get a real kick out of, as everyone brings in things to mold and shares them with everyone else. That way each student goes home with many molds to use with PMC that they would not have otherwise had. It is really FUN. 3. We also will be using paste to cover a living leaf or a round cotton ball made for making a bead. Students will choose. Then we will fire it. 4. Paint Paste onto wet paper to make a fabric like metal piece to use in future jewelry making.
