About This Activity
Competitive kid-pitch baseball program designed to prepare participants for advanced play. Program begins the week of Aug. 18, and continues through Nov. 1. During games, if batters are walked, a designated pitcher (pitcher/ump) will complete the at-bat until the player puts the ball in play or strikes out. Scores and standings are kept throughout the season culminating with playoffs at the end. Games are on Saturdays (depending on weather) at the Central Park MCA fields. Weekly practices are arranged by individual team coaches. Cost: $255/athlete; uniform cost is separate.
