10 sessions x 1 Hour Thursday - March 6, 13, 20, 27 | April 3, 17, 24 | May 1, 8, 15 Money Matters - Personal Finance for Kids is an exciting and hands-on course that aims to teach students the basics of financial literacy in a fun and engaging way. We will teach kids how to differentiate between needs and wants, helping them make thoughtful spending decisions every time. This course doesn’t just teach the “what” of money—it focuses on the “how” and “why” encouraging critical thinking and real-world application. Through a blend of interactive activities, games, and hands-on projects students will explore the basics of money identification, budgeting, saving, spending, debit, credit, banking, and much more. They’ll create their own piggy banks to develop a habit of saving and build an ATM to bring financial concepts to life. By connecting lessons to real-world applications, Money Matters equips your child with the confidence to manage money responsibly. Money Matters will empower your students to : ● Distinguish between needs and wants, fostering better decision-making ● Master the basics of budgeting through engaging activities and role-playing ● Feel ready to tackle everyday money decisions with engaging lessons and real-world examples Note: We love to keep parents updated on the class progress. We have established three key communication points: a teacher introduction to start the semester, a midpoint update featuring progress and activity photos, and a final email summarizing the semester’s achievements.
