About This Activity
Our young artists will love developing their chalk pastel techniques with a shoreline full of sea stars! They will enjoy cartooning a friendly hamster and drawing an outdoor cat. Students will love drawing a popular Polynesian princess and a shark dancing the hula. They will build on their artistic skills later in the week by designing an elaborate tank full of exotic fish! Artists will also enjoy using oil pastels on a dinosaur graphic and a drawing of playful sprites! Students will complete at least 8 pieces of artwork for the week and take them home in an art portfolio on Friday. Students will build on their drawing skills while also learning coloring techniques, blending, and color harmony using a variety of art mediums. Your child will have a blast and feel a great sense of accomplishment when they take home their own portfolio of artwork at the end of the week! Lessons change every week, register for one week or multiple weeks! Summer Camp Cancellation Policy: Cancellations before May 1st are fully refundable. Cancellations from May 1st - July 6th will receive a refund, less a $30 processing fee. Cancellations after July 6th are non-refundable. Make-up classes are not provided in the event your child is absent. Our summer camp will focus on the fundamentals of drawing and coloring using a wide variety of mediums.
