About This Activity
Description
It’s all about water in this camp! Learn about aquatic life and water cycles through fun, wet, hands-on water games and experiments. Activities include water pinatas, beaver dams, and a surprise visit from the swamp monster! Info: Matt Medicus, 410-313-1769 or mmedicus@howardcountymd.gov.
If your child will need to bring medication with them to camp, please fill out the Medication Administration Authorization Form (Camps) is attached above for you to download and fill out. It requires a doctor's signature, so please allow enough time for it to be complete before the start of camp.
Camp does NOT involve swimming, but campers will get wet during water activities. Campers will not visit a pool or enter Centennial Lake. We will try to keep groups consistent throughout the week. All campers must provide their own snacks (no peanut products) and bring plenty of water. Detailed information and camp participant forms will be emailed to registrants approximately two weeks prior to the start of each camp session. Schedule is subject to change; camp may be cancelled in case of inclement weather. In most cases, Friday will be used as a makeup day. Prompt drop off and pickup of child(ren) at recreational programs is mandatory. Special accommodations are available but not guaranteed. Requests must be made at least two weeks in advance.
