If you’ve already developed basic water comfort and foundational swimming skills, join Coach Jo for this one-day clinic designed to take your skills to the next level. Participants will practice streamline glides on the front and back, coordinate arm strokes and kicks for freestyle and backstroke, develop rhythmic side breathing, and learn to tread water in deep areas. With improved breath control and consistent practice, you’ll build confidence and endurance in the water. Note: This is not an introductory clinic.
Prerequisites
Participants must be able to:1.Bob underwater and blow bubbles through both nose and mouth for 5–10 seconds2.Float independently on both the front and back for 5–10 seconds3.Glide independently on the front and back for at least 10 feet4.Demonstrate a basic understanding of arm strokes and kicking
Arrival and Supervision: All participants must check in on the pool deck for their first class. No one is allowed in the pool until the instructor is present. A parent or guardian must stay in the pool area during class for any participant under 16yrs - no drop-offs are allowed.Missed Class/Refunds: We do not offer individual make-up lessons or refunds for missed classes.
