About This Activity
Games, tools, excitement! It’s Maker Mania! The Maker movement is all the rage and there seems to be no end in sight for it. In this creative camp, students are introduced to basic tool use, engineering design and a little artistic creativity as they spend the week making fun projects from wood and metal. Each camper will make his or her own project they get to keep, and each day presents a new and entertaining game or device that is sure to produce smiles and win approval. So, put on your safety glasses, jump on the bandwagon and get introduced to the maker movement. * This class is oriented for grades 3-5. However, older students are welcome to register as long as they are aware they may be with younger students.
