About This Activity
In the spirit of Fig Newtons and Jr. Apprentices, Mini-Makers allows 1st-3rd grade children to use tools as they build a series of hands-on projects. Projects will be different from those previously done in the other 1st -3rd-grade classes, and students will keep the projects they make. Examples of the types of projects students make include a Jacob's Ladder, a Puck Game, and Plaster Gauze. Projects for this class will be unique each day, but these projects are specific to this class and will be repeated in other sessions of Mini Makers.
