SpacePrep consists of a hands-on space-related workshop, and an exploration of a college and career pathway in aerospace engineering including opportunities for students in high school. SpacePrep participants will learn the basics of electricity and electronics in a hands-on engaging projects, including building their own robot-like gadget called a JiggyBot that they will take home. Taught by guest instructor Jen Carter, director of the Center for STEM+excellence center and founder of the Space Trek camp for girls, it promises to be a fun hands on camp just for girls! If you would like to contribute to a sponsorship fund for students who could not otherwise afford our programs, we encourage you to add the "Pay if Forward" Session Option to contribute in $20 increments (as many as you like) before checkout. The $50 program cost has been provided to us by the generous donation of instructional time from Jen Carter, allowing us to bring this exceptional program at a very affordable price.
