The Forest Preserve District recommends one chaperone per 10 students. Chaperones need to make sure their groups behave and use quiet inside voices. Large groups will be divided into subgroups of 25, which must stay together.
Check in at the front desk when you arrive. If you're late, you may have a shorter or cancelled program. The program takes place rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Food is not allowed on the trail or inside the building; please dispose of garbage properly. Visitors may not fish or collect natural items at the preserve.
