About This Activity

Description

Health is at the center of our life. Qigong pronounced "chee gong" is all about good health. By simply moving the body in gentle circles and easy relaxed stretches, with balance practices and breathing exercises, every joint and organ of the body is massaged, stimulated and brought into harmony. The result is good health, healing, and a happier life. Qigong is followed by Tai Chi (taiji) 24 Form. This is a short form of slow movements that coordinate the body and breath, right and left balance, mindfulness. It is described as "moving meditation" and "medicine in motion". Simu Janet Seaforth has taught Qigong for 30 years and is certified by National Qigong Association.


To participate in the Tai Chi class you must register for the Qigong class that is held before Tai Chi.

You cannot do the Tai Chi class without participating in the Qigong class.
