Here is the layout for the upcoming Track season:
All practices will be held at Crocker Middle School/North School campuses, while all Track Meets will be held at MILLS HIGH SCHOOL in Millbrae.Please dress appropriately for those cold, spring nights.
We compete in the following races: 100, 200, 400, 800, mile, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay, long jump and high jump.
For practices, the kids should dress comfortably in shorts and t-shirts, running/athletic shoes (not vans), and have a water bottle. If they want to bring their phones to listen to music that would be ok. There are some great apps that the kids can use to support their training (Nike App, Peloton App, etc.) that helps set a good foundation for improving their running and gives them a plan for the track season to get better and in theory faster.
Our expectations for the kids are to have fun and improve. If any parent is a runner and wants to help out, please look at the schedule and let me know if you can make those days and times. We would be more than happy to have assistance in this realm.
