Ages 11-13 w/ Coach Phil Hayman
tennis adopts the 30/60 model where the guided instruction will focus on individualized court skills including both physical and strategy drills. Game play will hone in on traditional singles and doubles play allowing players to earn points for their "teams" through matches and will continue to build fundamental skills. Location: Cronin Tennis Courts

More than thirty million Americans play tennis. Combining strength, speed, endurance and strategy, it is a sport that attracts players from ages 3 to 93. Hingham Recreation wants to foster the skills and desire for fundamentals for a lifelong relationship with one of the world's most popular sports. Our tennis pros have created a program designed for beginners to advanced players.
In each of the levels, the two-pronged approach is made up of:
1. Guided instruction: focus on form, strategy, and structure
2. Gameplay: putting the skills focused on during instruction into fun and meaningful application

Additionally participants will also engage in "team" challenges to encourage to a foundation of teamwork and foster good relationship
