Description
Safety Town is a week-long, fun program consisting of a miniature town with child sized houses, crosswalks, and streets. Activities throughout the week teach children safety through songs, guest presentations and role-playing. We will cover crossing the street safely, stranger safety, child abuse prevention, how to dial 911, gun safety, safety around dogs, safety on buses, fire safety and internet safety. We will also cover water safety, railroad safety, and playground safety, as time allows.

Parent letter with details about the program will be emailed to parents the week prior to the camp, so please make sure that email contacts are correct. Parent information may also be available at nccde.org/safetytown.
