Wildlife Vet Camp(s) Get an in depth look at what it takes to rehabilitate wildlife. Learn species, assessment, care, nutrition, and treatment. We will include Pet First Aid along with CPR. This camp is packed full of various techniques to help sick or injured wildlife. Children will receive this building block education to spark their interest in wildlife care. Possumwood Acres founder Toni has been teaching wildlife rehabilitation for decades. Toni is currently an instructor for Coastal Carolina Community College. (Session 1 for ages 9-11) (Session 2 for ages 12-15) All children will be required to have bug spray, sunscreen, appropriate clothing such as closed toed shoes, their own lunch and a snack. Children enrolled in extended hours should bring an extra snack. Possumwood Acres uses nut products extensively, including peanuts, to feed the sanctuary residents. Please consider this fact for those with nut allergies or sensitivities.
