Prep soccer players will not only develop and refine their soccer skills of dribbling, passing and shooting, but are sure to also have a great time becoming immersed into the Brebeuf Jesuit Soccer culture under the guidance of Boys Head Coach Carlos Zavaleta and Girls Head Coach Angela Berry White. The Prep soccer camp will focus on individual skill-building activities as well as team-oriented strategies. Coach Zavaleta has guided the Braves to two Marion County Championships, four Sectional Championships, one Regional Championship, one Semi-State Championship, as well as an IHSAA State Tournament Runner-Up in 2014. Coach Zavaleta is also the Director of the Indiana Soccer Academy, and has decades of collegiate, professional playing and coaching experience. In her second season, Coach Berry White guided the Braves to their second consecutive Marion County and Sectional Championships, a Regional Championship, a Semi-State Championship and this year won their first 2A IHSAA State Title. The Braves finished the year ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 1 in the country by MaxPreps. A native of Indianapolis, Coach Berry White was a prep superstar and Marion County Athlete-of-the-Year before an All-America playing career at George Mason and playing on the U.S. National Team. Coach Berry White was the first female player named to the Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame. She has coaching experience at Indiana University, Butler University and Carmel United.
