Brebeuf's Football Camp is the only school-sponsored camp in the Indianapolis area where campers wear a helmet and shoulder pads. Prep football players will learn basic to advanced techniques from Brebeuf Jesuit Head Football Coach Mic Roessler. All phases of the game, offense, defense, and special teams, will be taught. Some of the techniques that campers will be properly instructed on are blocking, tackling, pass rushing, pass protection, passing, catching, punting, kicking, and snapping. Prep players are sure to enjoy this competitive camp that will improve their fundamental skills needed to succeed in football. Brebeuf Jesuit Head Football Coach Mic Roessler has over 24 years of experience coaching football, forming many players who went on to compete in the collegiate D1-NAIA levels. Coach Roessler was an All-State Football, Wrestling, and Baseball player at Beech Grove High School before heading to Ball State to play football where he was a four-year starter and Team Captain. After college, Coach Roessler played professionally in the Arena Football League.
