About This Activity

Description

Internet registration is not available for this activity.

These workshops will be taking place at the Indio Hills Community Center in Indio Hills, but the rides will take place at Coral Mountain in La Quinta.

Trips for Kids is a program that serves our youth ages 10 - 17, by providing them workshops to learn about nutrition, health, preservation of outdoors, bike safety, bike riding tips, and keeping our environment safe and clean. This is a FREE experience and we will be selecting groups of kids at different sites to have these workshops. At the end of each program, we will have a mountain bike ride for all participants to put to use what they learned over the first 3 workshops. Bikes and Lunches are provided for the day of the ride. Volunteers and Bike Enthusiasts are welcome to come join and help with these rides and/or work shops. Please Contact Courtney Galvan at the Indio Community Center at (760) 347-4263 for more information.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND WORK SHOPS AT SELECTED SITES IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR THE RIDE AND HAVE ALL BASIC INFORMATION NEEDED LEADING UP TO RIDE.
