ATTENTION: At this time the "gals" cabin for Taking Flight is full. Please DO join the waitlist in the event that spaces open up and feel free to reach out to Camp Manager, Becky Heath at becky.heath@birdconservancy.org Learn the ecology of the Rocky Mountains and the birds that call these spaces home. Our Taking Flight campers work toward a deeper understanding of the flora and fauna that exist here and the ways they interact with our avian residents. We aim for these campers to come away with better observational skills and lasting memories of hiking, birding and so much more. They will have the opportunity to explore the ecosystems of Colorado’s Front Range, while honing their bird identification and leadership skills, gaining independence and responsibility, and making new friends! *Vaccination Requirements: We require campers and staff to be FULLY immunized (using state guidelines for schools) before overnight camp begins. Campers and staff who qualify for a medical exemption must provide a physician’s note documenting the exemption and will be allowed at camp if a reasonable accommodation can be made. Covid-19 vaccinations are not required in 2024 but highly encouraged. **Transportation to and from camp will be provided by Bird Conservancy this year. Check in will take place at Bird Conservancy of the Rockies in Brighton, CO. Please refer to the Overnight Parent Handbook for details. REGISTRATION CLOSES ON May 21st
