Start Smart Basketball
This NAYS (National Alliance for Youth Sports) program is a great way to get your child involved at a young age. Start Smart Basketball focuses on teaching children and their parents basic motor skills necessary to plan organized basketball while they work one-on-one and spend quality time with their parents. The program focuses on teaching children and their parents basic sports mechanics without the threat of competition or fear of getting hurt. Skills such as shooting, passing, catching, and running will be taught during the course. Held once a week for 6 weeks, the exercise will become increasingly more difficult as the class progresses and the children show improvement. Parents are REQUIRED to participate with their children. Price includes a t-shirt for the child. This program will be offered on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30.
