We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
This class combines adults and children for family-oriented training in Taekwon-Do martial art. In addition to learning an effective form of self-defense, students will learn discipline and respect from the Taekwon-Do Tenets and Student Oath. Training will be both physical (exercises designed to produce power and stamina) and academic (introduction to some Korean words, history, and technical teaching). Students in this class range from a 10th Gup Low White Belt to a Red Belt. Students can eventually earn their Black Belt. Late registration will not be accepted. This class is very traditional and disciplined. Parent Meeting: A parent needs to be present on the first day of class for a brief meeting. Prerequisite: Students must be a minimum of 8 years old at the start of the session - NO EXCEPTIONS. Students who are promoted to a high yellow belt will be required to become a member of the United States Taekwon-Do Federation (annual membership fee is $50).
