We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
This class is for students who have achieved the coveted black belt. Upon attaining the black belt, a student's Taekwon-Do training has really just begun since there are 9-levels (degrees/dans) of black belt. Training is highly advanced as students learn black belt patterns and advanced sparring and self-defense techniques. Black belt students are expected to become a USTF instructor and referee certified; and become an ambassador to USTF Taekwon-Do. Late registration will not be accepted. This class is very traditional and disciplined. Prerequisite: Students must be a minimum of 8 years old at the start of the session - NO EXCEPTIONS, and must be evaluated by the instructor before enrollment. Students transferring from another Taekwon-Do school must provide grade certificate. Students will be required to maintain an annual membership in the United States Taekwon-Do Federation (annual membership fee is $50); Additional fees may be required for instructor and/or referee courses ($60-$200). Supplies: Sparring gear (see instructor). Attire: ITF Taekwon-Do uniform; flip-flops, sandals or sneakers.
