Join us for this three day farm adventure! We will plant, tend and eat fresh fruits and vegetables from the gardens, build with natural materials, and explore the farm's streams, forests, and native prairie. We will tend to the farm animals and learn about respectful methods of animal care. And of course, we'll make some awesome art projects together, including hand stitched journals, water color paintings, woodworking, origami, upcycled CD art, and so much more. During this session our biology lessons will explore pollinators like bees and butterflies, and we will engage in projects to help conserve their habitats. All programming is led by Ana Skemp, M.S. Ecology, owner of Deep Roots Community Farm and Jeni Blake, artist and owner of Inspired. 9:1 staff to child ratio. Children will be asked to bring in their own healthy snacks and lunch.
