Babysitter Training Class is a fun hands-on community education program for youth ages 11-16 years. This class will help Babysitters become better prepared. Participants practice infant skills on dolls and learn and practice CPR for infants and children. Topics include: babysitter responsibilities, sitter safety, diapering procedures, recognizing an emergency, infant and child CPR, and basic first aid.
Participants receive a booklet from the American Safety & Health Institute, Babysitter certificate and starter first aid kit. This one-day class is taught by Lockhart Training. Instructor Sue Lockhart has been training babysitters in San Diego for over 20 years.
Bring pen or pencil, paper, snack, lunch and water bottle to class.
