About This Activity
Scratchboard is a form of direct engraving where the artist scratches off dark into reveals white or colored layer beneath. The technique uses tools for engraving into the scratchboard, which is usually covered in a thin layer white China clay coated with black India ink. You will receive all the materials, tools and personalized instruction to create your own scratchboard piece. Physical Demand [1] = Activity is indoors or outside with up to 1/10 of a mile walking; includes both sitting and standing
