About This Activity

JUNIOR HIGH SKILLS CAMP COST: $180.00 DATE: JUNE 1-3, 2016 LOCATION: EARL K. LONG GYMNASIUM The recommended age for this camp is for those entering grades 7-8. This camp focuses on all aspects of the game with the emphasis on fundamentals as well as refining technique and exposure to the tactical aspects of the game. Skill development is emphasized during hours of on-court instruction in the following areas: serving, serve receiving, forearm passing, setting, attacking, blocking, attack coverage, transition, and competition. Lunch is provided with camp purchase. There will be a camp clothing and food store that accepts cash and credit card for purchases. We will have Ragin’ Cajuns apparel, volleyball clothing and accessories, snacks, and drinks available for purchase. The parent of guardian is able to check-in and check-out their camper for the lunch break. The parent or guardian will do this process in-person and with a member of the camp staff. We encourage you to register online and the camp manual will answer all of your general camp questions. If you have any additional questions or unable to register online, please contact Assistant Coach-Trey Cruz at trey.cruz@louisiana.edu.
