Camp Overview BCCS has collaborated with The C.A.U.S.E. to create a peer-to-peer targeted video on substance use, pregnancy, HIV and other high risk behavior prevention. These videos will be done in the format of a public service announcement as part of our social media campaigns. PSA Camp will be held from Friday, May 20, 2016 through Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Camp Arrowhead in Lewes, Delaware. This will be a fun and easy way for your child, ages 13-18 and in grades 7th-12th, to be apart of the collaboration and get their own voices, and the voices of their peers heard. Participation will include Pre-Production: screenplay formatting and writing, story-boarding, interview template creation, research. Production: “Lights, Camera, Action!” Participants can rotate between roles such as director, camera operator, sound grip, production assistant and talent. Post-Production: Campers will learn how to edit a video, trim, crop and sequence footage, add transitions, after effects, titles and sounds, as well as score the perfect soundtrack. In this portion we will help interest participants learn the basics of digital video editing on the professional grade Final Cut Pro software. Campers will help make the final decisions and add finishing touches to their masterpiece! The experience is totally hands on, campers will get to film, edit and produce, which are all great skills to add to a resume!
