About This Activity
Hands-on nature experiences that foster belonging In a culture that is driven by all things digital and lacks deep human interaction, this week of camp will remind children that they are part of a collective much bigger than themselves. Through nature-based play they will remember they are one with the earth. There will be daily hikes, outdoor play, team building games, and LOTS of time in the water. Practices that focus on collaboration and teamwork help kids learn to work together and discover the beauty of community. Campers will get on the water, learn about photosynthesis, identify native flora and fauna, and so much more. This week is very nature focused as we explore all the ways that we are not separate from the earth, but intimately in partnership with her.
