10 sessions x 1 Hour Tuesday - Dec 9, 16 | Jan 6, 13, 20, 27 | Feb 3, 10, 17, 24 Led by the expert instructors of Pacific Chess Academy, this exciting in-person program introduces students in Grades 1–5 to the world’s most strategic and imaginative game. Each session is filled with fun, challenge, and discovery as students learn to think ahead, plan smart moves, and solve problems creatively. Whether your student is brand new to the game or already knows the basics, our program supports all experience levels — Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Students receive clear instruction, personalized guidance, and plenty of hands-on practice through interactive lessons and friendly matches. Through chess, kids learn more than just the rules of the game — they build focus, patience, critical thinking, resilience, and confidence that extend far beyond the chessboard. Every move teaches valuable lessons in decision-making, strategic planning, and good sportsmanship. All chess equipment is provided — just bring curiosity and enthusiasm! At the end of the session, students can celebrate their progress in a fun, in-person tournament, where every participant is encouraged to shine and show off their growing skills.
