About This Activity
Youth Level 2 – Fundamental Aquatic Skills (Ages 6+) 45 Minute Class This class teaches the beginnings of locomotion skills needed to produce forward motion in the water. Many of the skills taught in this class mirror those taught in a Preschool 3 class, but is for kids who are at least 6 years old. Swimmers will learn to glide and float without support and recover to a vertical position. Participants further develop simultaneous as well as, alternating arm and leg movements on the front and back. The beginnings of how to swim the proper strokes.
