SPECIAL INVITATION FOR PALISADES - MALIBU!WHAT: Day of fun with Paramount PicturesWHEN: Wednesday, June 11th 9:00am – 2:30pmWHERE: Cayton Children’s MuseumWHAT TO EXPECT: Join us for a visit to the museum filled with activities and challenges to help kids activate the power of play. Y kids will join YMCA youth development staff team members (program leaders/chaperones) and volunteers from Paramount Pictures, for a fun scavenger hunt across the museum before a lunch time activity.WHAT IS INCLUDED: Transportation from the Collins & Katz Family YMCA to the museum and back after the event, lunch, snacks and entry. WHAT TO BRING: Upon checking your child in for the field trip at the Palisades-Malibu YMCA, parent/guaridan will be required to sign and complete a YMCA waiver as well as a special field trip waiver from Paramount Pictures. This event is designed for chidlren who were impacted by the Palisades wildfire. This event is for children only. Children will be supervised by paid YMCA youth development staff team members. We will have one paid YMCA youth development staff team member for every 10 children, plus a coordinator and group leader for the day.
This event is provided at no charge thanks to our friends and partners at Paramount Pictures.
SCHEDULE:
- 09:00 AM: BUS DEPARTS – Collins & Katz Family YMCA
- 09:30 AM: Arrival at Cayton Children's Museum
- 10:00 AM: Museum Exploration Begins (children will remain with their assigned YMCA staff team member)
- 12:00 PM: Lunch Served and Memory Craft-Making & Reflection of the day
- 01:30 PM: Group Photos!
- 02:00 PM: Departure from Museum
- 02:30 PM: Return to Collins & Katz Family YMCA for parent/guardian pick-up.
