About This Activity
Group Violin Classes: Three Levels Foundations A: 5:30-6 pm This group is designed for children in PreK (4 and 5 year olds) to grade 3 who have never played. Great emphasis is put on posture of both the violin and the bow and the mechanics of how the hands coordinate to play the instrument. The class involves listening games, fun activities, and engagement of both the parent and the child. Foundations B: 6:10-6:40 pm This class is similar to Foundations A but moves at a faster pace, leading into rhythm and note reading. It is designed for children in grades 3 - 5. The class involves listening games, fun activities, and engagement of both the parent and the child. Violin Choir: 6:50-7:20 pm So you know the violin basics and are ready to take on the world? This group class is the first step toward your violin world domination! This class studies beginning note and rhythm reading and learning to play as a group.
