About This Activity

Invention Convention Grades 4-5: All new STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) projects. (Fall and Spring projects do not repeat) Using Lego Mindstorms Robots, Terraformers software, Circuitry, Solar Kits, Keva Planks, Rocketry, Technology and do-it-yourself projects, our curriculum challenges kids to design and construct 3-D innovations individually and as a team. This is a full year STEAM program (science, technology, engineering, art, math) with all new lessons for fall, and spring sessions that do not repeat. Design a Star Wars robot and Mars Rover, program an adventure in space, construct a solar robot, test out circuitry, build a castle, bridge or dragon…and lots, lots more! Students acquire a basic knowledge of geometry, physics, technology, programming, circuitry, energy, sculpture, art, and design. In addition to logical thinking, our program stimulates student’s thinking in a different way to generate innovations from their own imagination and discover their creative talent. What invention will your student come up with?
