No experience is necessary for this program, but a full commitment is required: athletes in this program train Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (4:15-6:30pm) and Saturday-Sunday mornings (6:30am-9:00am), in addition to one at-home workout on an off day. This program is designed for athletes with little to no competitive rowing under their belts but who want to advance quickly with the goal of racing or being ready to race in their first year. This is the primary feeder program to our varsity program.
