About This Activity
Focused on grades 2nd to 5th. Join us during our Community Hero week afternoon activity. Miss Joy will provide an exciting program where the kids use movement, expression and activities to bring out the best hero inside. Miss Joy will use her experience to engage the kids using JPH’s outdoor grounds to connect with nature, and targeted activities to enhance their confidence in themselves and collaboration with each other. Joy Kingsbury MS OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist in the Norwell school system with 25 years of experience. She has a deep understanding of sensory processing skills, self-regulation strategies and emotional intelligence. She loves to move dance and play to help kids develop skills for living. The class will have a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 12. The program will wrap up at 4:15 pm with pick up by 4:30 pm.
