Supervisor: Christopher Seylar CV, are you ready to “Get’cha head in the game?” That’s right, the Cumberland Valley Eagle Foundation is excited to announce their production of High School Musical JR as their fifth annual musical summer camp and their first opportunity for a backstage camp. Students are invited to attend as we bring the story to life on stage. Please read the entire description in the packet on the website for all information. The camp begins on July 15, with rehearsals Monday through Friday, from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Rehearsal dates are as follows: 7/15, 7/16, 7/17, 7/18, 7/19, 7/22, 7/23, 7/24, 7/25, and 7/26. Please ensure that students are able to attend all rehearsals in order to have a successful show. Students will need to pack and bring lunch each day. Our musical camp is a fun filled, busy, and intense two weeks of rehearsal. All students need to attend all rehearsals, meetings, and performances. All rehearsals and performances will be held at Mountain View Middle School. We will have 2 performances on July 26 at 3:00pm and 6:30pm. Please note that on Friday, July 26 students will stay from 8:30am through the end of the second performance and cleanup (most likely around 8:30pm). Dinner will be provided for students on this day. During camp, students will work with staff members to learn the various aspects that comprise the backstage components of a production. During rehearsals and performances, the student crew will be responsible for the stage crew elements and technical elements of the show. They will learn how to prepare for their roles and all roles during the camp as well as how they are implemented during a show. Students will be responsible for bringing all black clothing and shoes. There will be a mandatory student and parent meeting on May 20 at 6:00pm at Mountain View Middle School Performing Arts Center. A $15 CANCELLATION FEE WILL BE ASSESSED FOR CANCELLATION OF ANY CAMP REGISTRATION.
