Get ready for the Elementary Environmental Club, known as the "Green Team." This is for fifth grade students interested in caring for their environment and helping with our vegetable garden. Students will learn about gardening, recycling, and environmental stewardship. Students will meet in the Elmwood Academy Gym Lobby area for check-in and snack. Then transported by bus to the environmental center. Students should wear their Green Team t-shirt and come dressed for outdoor and indoor activities. Pick-up will occur promptly at the Trails & Trees Environmental Center. Students will also collect and save aluminum cans to be exchanged for cash used to protect endangered species through animal adoption at the end of the club.
