This course teaches Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO) for adult, child, and infant victims. Through CalFire instructor-led classroom skill session you will have the opportunity to practice and demonstrate skill competency required for certification. The four (4) hour session features simulation learning - an interactive experience where participants respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a certificate (AHA Heartsaver CPR card) for Adult CPR/AED valid for two (2) years.
