For the spring session, students will learn about birthdays and birthday parties. They'll review or learn numbers from 1-31 and the months of the year to express their age, ask about someone else's age, and compare the ages of two people. Students will also be able to talk about what they like and don't like at birthday parties. Sponge classes are immersion-based and designed to instill a love of language and culture while developing language skills. Our teachers use a communicative approach with lots of movement, games, music, props, and gestures that allow everyone to join in the fun. Young learners are primed for language learning; research shows that students are 70% more likely to gain fluency when they begin in elementary school or younger. Make language and culture a part of your child's life and watch them embrace a new world! If you would like to get a head start with the basics or want a refresher about basic Spanish vocabulary, check out the free Spanish intro course at spongeclasses.com. No prior language exposure is required. All students interested in learning Spanish are welcome!
