About This Activity

Description

Become a junior paleontologist and excavate real fossils from sand. In this highly interactive class, find everything from shark teeth to sea urchins, dinosaur bone fragments, mineral bits and more. Discover what it takes to become a fossil and how to classify according to geologic era. Identify and clean up your specimens before taking them home. Special Instructions: $8 supply fee payable to instructor (includes bag of fossils, ID card, and booklet)
