Music Makers at the Keyboard, Year 2 is the second year in our keyboard sequence. Students will build on the skills they learned in year 1, expanding their repertoire and reading skills. Student will begin to improvise at the keyboard using chord progressions, as well as learning to write musical notation. Singing and movement activities continue to be an important part of every class. Completion of Music Makers at the Keyboard, Year 1 or equivalent experience is required. Family materials include two CDs for at home listening and guided practicing, student book and notation games. New CDs and books are provided each semester as students further develop their skills. Tuition: As low as $18 per class! ($300 when paying in semester installments plus $60/semester required materials OR $540 when paying for the entire year at once plus $110 required materials!) 30 sessions, September-June.
