We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Tuesday, November 29, 2016.
Make a snack with Minnesota's abundant fall harvest! Experiment with native crops like sunflowers and wild rice. Learn about Peter Gideon (our state's version of Johnny Appleseed) while making an apple snack. Mix up a batch of quick marinated pickles or slaw. And of course, preserve fall's beauty by drying leaves and flowers! [An after-school care group affiliated with the park or a nearby school has scheduled this program, and has opened 5 spots for kids from the public to register and join in the fun. Scholarships are available.]
Participants should be prepared to spend time outside. Please bring a jacket and wear old shoes.
