We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Monday, January 30, 2017.
Snowshoeing is a great way to get outside in winter. Participants will learn to snowshoe and get lots of practice with an instructor. Depending on the snow conditions and the group, additional activities may include winter birding, winter plant identification, snowshoe games and attempting advanced maneuvers such as the two-stepped 180 turn! Wear your boots to the park, and we will loan you snowshoes that buckle over the top of them.
This is an outdoor activity. Except in extreme weather please be prepared to spend most of your time outdoors.
A child care group affiliated with the park has scheduled this program, and has opened 5 spots for kids from the public to register and join in the fun.
