About This Activity
The Performing Arts Division (PAD) summer intensives aim to build upon the MDT&S curriculum based in classical ballet technique and incorporating contemporary dance forms. Classes are taught by MDT faculty. PAD level classes are aimed at dancers who have mastered the fundamentals of ballet technique. Classes will include: Ballet Technique, Contemporary Technique, Conditioning/Strength and Creative Workshops. Current MDT&S students should register for the level in which they were placed for the 2023-2024 school year. New students should contact MDT&S at school@mndance.org to discuss level placement prior to registering for classes. The following is a general guide for level placement. This should be used as a guide only and should not replace a formal placement conversation with MDT faculty. Level B - 3+ years of ballet training
