In our "Bricks 4 Kidsz Engineering" class using LEGO bricks. Students will experience hands-on engineering fundamentals as they build different motorized models that relate to a given name. Each week, students will build a different invention or gadget and will learn the mechanics and engieneering principles behind each model (examples include a walking spider, rotating tornado, a dragster or a catapult). Through our sturctured builds, students will develop problem sloving and critical thinking skills. Our students "inventors" will learn why, where and how these inventions work. Once the project is their project is completed, children use the rest of their time to expand their gadgets and collabrate with one another. Students are also encouraged to create their own inventions using huge tub of LEGO bricks! Make learning fun!
