About This Activity
Please note this is only the application. The Recreation Manager will conduct a screening on all applicants and will let you know if you have been approved to attend. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is providing the opportunity for children with disabilities to participate in their diving immersion program and explore the wonders of Monterey Bay in a safe and fun environment. This event is available to children between the ages of 8 and 13 and are tailored to meet the needs of each child. Everything from multiple “dive buddies” to adaptive gear is available to help ensure each child has an engaging experience. During the program, kids have the ability to go on a surface scuba dive with the aquarium's dive staff in their Great Tide Pool, where they will meet amazing animals while getting a fish's-eye view of the wonders of the bay.
