We're sorry, but this class is over. The last meeting was Monday, December 12, 2016.
Primary Ballet Monday in Montrose with Miss Leeann ages 5-7 years old. This class is the beginning of formalized ballet classes. Your little dancer will learn spatial awareness and musicality, as well as some ballet French terminology and ballet movements and steps. Dancers at this stage still learn in a creative atmosphere and do not yet use the ballet barre, but instead learn to music in the center of the room focusing on one movement at a time. By the end of Primary ballet, students will be learning to put steps and movements together.
Weehawken Dance is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® NATIONAL TRAINING CURRICULUM, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
Save the date: Polar Express performance December 16th and 17th
