About This Activity
Description
This program will teach participants the fundamentals of track and field which includes: running form and techniques, high/long/triple jump, hurdles, relays, sprints and distance events. Participants will get a chance to try all events in a fun and safe environment. High School Track coaching staff will be helping instruct participants. Please bring a water bottle.
There will be a final intrasquad track meet on the last day of the program. This will be held at the Mount Horeb High School Track. More information on this meet, as well as the Wisconsin Track Club meets, will be given out at the program.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Cancellations made before the registration deadline listed are subject to $5.00 administrative charge. Refunds or credits will not be issued after the registration deadline. Please note that online convenience fees are non-refundable. Refunds can be put back on your credit card, placed as a credit on your account or by check that will be mailed out (check refunds take 2-3 weeks to receive).
