Do your kids love Minecraft? It is the world hottest new video game and most players could use a helping hand? Or could provide one. Want to have a fun place where you share your world creation with other kids your age? Want to see what other kids are building? Exchange some ideas? We got you covered! Minecraft is fun, and, ultimately, an excellent learning tool for both gamers and non-gamers. Minecraft can improve learning, motor skills, creativity and cognitive skills! It's a game that players create new environments, then go to adventures using what they built. They will overcome and discover solution to overcome obstacles. You will be building structures and creating new ones. There will be lots of kids wanting to help and build with you. This is a kids social club, monthly drop ins for about 1 hour at the Las Flores Community Center for kids ages 6-12 years. We will have the more experienced kids with high levels of expertise teaching you and supporting on your creation. This is a space where you will meet new creators and you will hang in together socially and play. We will not be using the internet at this club and we encourage you to walk around the gym and share your world. Feel free to borrow and remix your world with other kids.
We recommend one license per child game per kid to be downloaded to their iPad before they arrive. Help is needed onsite if needed (parent must be present).
