This program provides already trained Program Aide's (PA) and Counselor’s-in-Training (CIT) the opportunity to put their skills to the test and help out with an outdoor program. The description of program they will help with is listed below. This is a day event and does not include an overnight. A snack is provided as part of this event. This program is designed for individuals WITHOUT an adult chaperone who have already completed their PA or CIT training. This is a drop off event. Program Description: Join us at Camp Greene Wood for an exciting Summer Outdoor Challenge designed specifically for your Girl Scout and family! Earn one of the four segments of the patch by completing exciting challenges that envelop the essence of summer. Here's a sneak peek at what awaits: Exploration Station: Learn how to protect bees, identify 3 kinds of birds and different animal tracks, and use a magnifying glass to observe the natural world. Craft Station: Get crafty with summer art. Create a dream catcher, leaf scrapbook, and colorful tie-dye. Snack Station: Make your very own homemade lemonade and a delicious s'more around the campfire. Games Station: Join in the fun with water games and bubbles! Mindful Station: Enjoy outdoor yoga and identify different cloud shapes. Outdoor Skills Station: Learn how to read a compass and the importance of Leave No Trace. Join us as we embark on this summer adventure together! Let's see how many items you can check off your list before the day is done.
